International Day of People with a Disability
To mark 2024 International Day for People with Disability with an online discussion about employment and disclosure of disability in the workplace. which featured guests El Gibbs at Disability Advocacy Network Australia and Alex Jones at The Achieve Foundation.
The panel explored specific systematic structures and personal bias which may prevent a person with a disability from achieving employment. There were also robust questions from the audience about how to support team members with disability who may not have disclosed their status.
