It was an honour to speak to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) Plenary Conference Dinner last night in Melbourne and to meet The Honorable Chief Justice William Alstergren AO.
The way we talk about disability and without realising it we have a tendency to lower our expectations of people with a disability, is often due to how our perceptions are so ingrained and operating at systemic levels. This is what has to change to end discrimination or barriers put on people with disability to engage at their full potential.
